Create an assignment
Send homework students actually hand in, with no paper collected.
Before you start
Students must be on your roster.

Open Assignments
Do this
Choose Assignments in the sidebar.
You’ll see
Your assignments and their status.

Start a new one
Do this
Press New assignment and give it a title and a category of your own choosing.
You’ll see
A form for the details.

Choose the workspace
Do this
Pick the type: a 7-day nutrition log, a weekly workout plan, or a written response.
You’ll see
The student’s side is created for you — they get the right tool for that type.

Write it
Do this
Add the instructions, the due date and the points possible.
You’ll see
A preview of the card students will see.

Publish
Do this
Leave it published, or save it as a draft until you are ready.
You’ll see
Published assignments appear on every student’s own page.
Tip: Attach it to a module so the reading and the work sit together.
You’re done when
The assignment is live and students can start it on their own device.
